A subject I was interested in this semester is Maig (Genetic Information Manipulation Support Module), of all the subjects that I have had in all the years this would be the last one I would choose as favorite, but this semester I didnt have another subject that attract my attention. I find that it is a very boring and difficult subject. Most of the time we have to be learning mathematics and doing calculations to which I do not see any sense, but still has its little fun part. we only talk about nucleotides and DNA, how we can manipulate the genetic code of an animal and modify it. The interesting part is that through DNA manipulation mechanisms, certain DNA genes can be modified and thus treat certain diseases in animals and even in humans. For example, recently I read a certain article that said that in a future doctors could make transplants of organs from a pig to a person. these transplants can now be done but the problem is that pigs have a vius that is deadly to humans. This virus is generated by a gene inside the DNA of the pig, if this gene is modified, organ transplants from pigs to humans will be possible. This would be a true revolution in the field of medicine. You would not have to wait so many years to find a donor and the best thing is that it would not be so expensive. People would not die waiting. People would not have to wait so many years to find a donor and the best thing is that it would not be so expensive. People would not die waiting. Now that I saw the image of the piglet I'm sad.

I hope that some day with the technology, the meat can be produced artificially with only from a cell culture or something like that 😥
